Trashy Girls Collective

3 scuba babes changing the world, one bag of trash at a time! #LetsGetTrashy

Sustainability, waste reduction, and spreading eco-awareness are the core values behind their beach and reef cleanup initiative. Founded by 3 friends (Kiki, Bess and Kristina) in April of 2019 because of their shared love of SCUBA diving and the ocean and because of what they witnessed and found while on dives. What they found is that we have an epic trash problem!

Bringing people together on their beach cleanups raises awareness not only with the volunteers, but also the beach goers seeing them collecting trash and debris.

Currently, TGC acts as an organizer of events all centered around conservation of our ocean, reefs and beaches and while they have toyed with the idea of becoming a non-profit, for now their message remains the same: All this trash can’t clean itself, so we all have to contribute, no matter how small or big your actions are- every plastic bag you don’t use, every avoided plastic water bottle, every straw you sip, every piece of trash you pick up, IT ALL COUNTS!

Stoked on Salt (SOS)

Ocean Conservation Scuba - Gear - Art - Events - Sweets

Stoked On Salt - aka ‘SOS’ was founded on May 2013 after owner Lisa Miceli-Capano spent time as a stakeholder in the Southeast Florida Coral Reef Initiative (SEFCRI) with various recognitions for her contribution to conversation efforts as well as for her artistic endeavors.  As an avid diver, Lisa witnessed our living coral reefs slowly disappear due to debris, anchor damage and other environmental factors and "Stoked On Salt" was born - a dive apparel company, volunteer cleanup group and host of conservation and debris art events.

SOS provides fun ways to contribute to the preservation of our beautiful ocean, beaches and living coral reefs that identify the special place where we live.  Her passion for diving and protecting our ocean is expressed through all of her original art designs and a percentage of all SOS sales gives them the opportunity to produce fun and educational events throughout the year while also donating proceeds from sales throughout the year to other non-profit Ocean Conservation organizations.
